As 2010 came to a close, Graduation night had neared. Olivia Ruby was chosen to do the Valedictorians Address for the graduating year. Olivia worked hard to find all of the right words to say to her fellow classmates, teachers, friends and family. After giving her speech, it was found that she did in fact find more than the right words, she found the perfect words, and recieved a standing ovation. Canada's Queen of the Written Word, author, poet and environmental activitist Margaret Atwood sat down with Spartan Youth Radio reporter Madeline Lemire as part of her Year of the Flood book tour. Hear Atwood's thoughts about her new book, the moon landing conspiracy, biotechnology, religion, the future of novels and ways to protect our environment. In her Globe and Mail blog, Atwood wrote that Lemire "was a credit to radio.
