After the "Big One", the planet Earth was left a smoking cinder shadow of its former self but did that stop Spartan Youth Radio from rocking the world? Hey, do you remember DJ Toxic? I'm sure you do. Well, he's back with a new show with a fun twist: you never know what you're going to hear. It can be a song from any genre, from any year and by any artist.   He shuffles five times and plays the tunes out in the episode. Spartan Youth Radio asked our faithful listeners and contestants: "Which album makes you rock 'n roll all night and party every day? Which album gets your heart pumping, your legs tapping, your air guitar fingers twitching and your lip-synch lips synching?" GOING DOWNTOWN WITH DT EPISODE ONE:They say that we must remember our history or be doomed to repeat it. Spartan Youth Radio's newest DJ, our very own math teacher DT, puts away the calculator and theorems in favour of the microphone. DT helps us remember the sacrifices made by our fallen, maimed and surviving soldiers through the music of rock and country greats: Paul McCartney and Wingas, the Dixie Chicks, Blue Rodeo and Midnight Oil. GAMER'S PLAYLIST. Video game music has gone from grainy 8-bit "beep, boop, bleep" songs made famous by Tetris and Super Mario to fully immersive, orchestral masterpieces. Though some gamers are happy to play their games with the music provided by the game developers, many like to go beyond the console and DJ their own tunage. TWO SONG THEATRE contains the rantings of a man I once knew. Mr. T roams the halls of B-Corridor at Espanola High School, looking for rules. While not differentiating, he takes advantage of a licenses podcast radio station making statements that might not be valid, playing tunes that might not be relevant, always asking "But soft.
